Amitabh Bachchan did a huge favour to his legions of fans by announcing the release date of his upcoming film Piku on micro-blogging site Twitter. Shoojit Sircar's eagerly awaited film features the Senior Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
He took to Twitter to say, " 'PIKU ' the film .. Deepika, Irrfan, AB with Shoojit Sarkar director ... confirmed release May 8 by Adi Chopra YRF and Sony .."
There were several pictures circulating on the internet of Amitabh Bachchan cycling on the streets of Kolkata which piqued everyone's curiosity. This will also be the first time we get to see Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan as an onscreen couple. We hope May 8 comes soon!
