'Brothers' is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood movie 'Warrior' which told the story of two estranged brothers whose entrance into a mixed martial arts tournament forces them to come to terms with their past and each other.
In the Hindi remake, Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra are the two estranged brothers.Jackie Shroff apparently plays the role of the father, essayed by Nick Nolte in the original.
'Brothers' has both Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra sporting rugged looks. Sid even grew a beard for his role.
The film is produced by Karan Johar and presented by his company Dharma Productions. Jacqueline Fernandez is the film’s leading lady.
Directed by Karan Malhotra of ‘Agneepath’ fame, ‘Brothers’ will release on 14th August 2015.
