The AIB controversy resulted in FIR being filed against the stand-up comedians involved in the show, as well as Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and the ladies attending the show - Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Interestingly Sonakshi Sinha's name wasn't on the chargesheet.
The Bombay High Court has now restrained the city police from arresting Ms. Padukone. She has been granted protection from police arrest till March 16, when her petition comes up for a hearing. In the meanwhile life goes on for Deepika as she shoots for Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh and Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor.
