Dirty Politics has released and as expected, it has arrived amidst its fair share of controversies. Even as reactions have started pouring in for this Mallika Sherawat starrer political drama, the Patna High Court has banned the release of the film over some objectionable scenes.
With the kind of subject that this K.C. Bokadia film boasts of, it is due to the fear of a can of worms being opened?
Laughs, "How can you say that? If the can of worms are being opened then for whom? See, the film is already leading to a lot of questions. Mr. Bokadia did a lot of research, he was really inspired. After all, the character that I am playing is that of a small gareeb girl, who managed to enter the corridors of powers. How ministers exploited her and how she exploited them back forms the crux of the film."
In the film, Mallika uses her body as a weapon to get what she wants.
"So what? What is new about that? Things like these are happening for centuries galore," she thunders away.
