Badlapur box office collection: Varun Dhawan starrer collects Rs 42.33 crore!

Badlapur, which released on February 20, is still going rock steady at the box office. Starring Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte, the revenge drama has already raked in Rs 42.33 crore at the domestic turf. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on the popular social networking Twitter a while back, “#Badlapur Week 1 –  36.31 cr. Week 2 – Fri 1.40 cr, Sat 2.07 cr, Sun 2.55 cr. Total – 6.02 cr… Grand total – 42.33 cr. India biz.”

Despite the A certification from Censor Board, Varun starrer has managed to pull in crowd to the cinema halls and has fared well at the ticket windows. Since there is hardly any competition at the BO, I am pretty sure the figures will go up in the coming days.

Interestingly, Raghavan’s latest outing has done good business overseas too. As of now, the total worldwide collection of Badlapur stands at Rs 47.64 crore. So don’t be surprised if you hear about Varun and team celebrating their film’s success once again because it won’t be too long before it enters the coveted Rs 50 crore club!
